As Henry Louis Gates, Jr. demonstrates in his television series Find Your Roots, connections make ones “book of life” have meaning for past, present and future generations.
This Web site project began in earnest after I retired in 1999. It presents a Schock family history in words and pictures. It also includes pages devoted to biographical details.
It is dedicated to my children, grandchildren, family and friends who might want to discover
information now, or in the future, about our family which otherwise might not be readily available.
It transitioned to the SquareSpace Web site on my 85th birthday, April 26, 2018 – a gift from Carey, Kathleen & Sydney, my son and his family. On December 21, 2020, the successful migration from Squarespace to WordPress CMS took place thus presenting a new menu format with nested dropdown menus. For menu navigation help click here.
