Unidentified – Fred Schock Family History

In Mom and Dad’s (Harry and Celia Schock’s) memorabiliaI found photographs containing hand-written notes in Yiddish as well as three photographic postcards. I am grateful for the translations provided by volunteers at JewishGen.org / View Mate.

“As a souvenir for our uncle and aunt from us, your nephew and niece(?) Peysakh (Pesach) and Dine Shokhor (Shochor or Shochach) Dear uncle Hersh this is your brother Zelik’s son and your brother Yankl’s daughter”

“Dear Uncle Hersh I send you my picture and I’m still waiting for your photograph please don’t let keep it back from me your dear nephew Peysakh Shokhor”
