Fred Schock was born on April 26 at Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia, PA to Celia and Harry Schock then living at 5935 Bel Mar Terrace in West Philadelphia, PA along with their other son, Paul.
Two neck operations for glandular problems during first year.
Sometime after 1933, the Schock household, Harry, Celia, Paul and Fred, moved to Allison Street, also in Philadelphia.

E. Horowitz owned candy store, first across the street and then next door to Dad’s store. She gave Mom a Diffenbachia plant in the 1950s which still has “offspring” some sixty years later.
