Jeannette Rankin Award 2013

“More than 300 people gathered in The Classic Center Atrium (Atlanta, GA) to celebrate the 87 hard-working women receiving JRF scholarships this year. Scholar speaker Kellirae sang beautifully and was accompanied by local talent Jim McKillip. After Kellirae’s speech, Margaret Holt was so inspired, that she took to the stage and challenged guests to donate a scholarship. Attendees rose to the occasion and donated $3,296 to fund the Friends of Kellirae Award.”

”Kellirae Boann and Craig Schroeder are an acoustic duo that plays an eclectic mix of vocal music that draws from some of the best of country, folk and pop.  Kellirae’s rich and distinctive voice is accompanied by Craig’s jazz-influenced acoustic guitar stylings.  Quite often, vocals take center stage as the two sing in a close harmony reminiscent of the great vocal duos of days gone by.”
