My presence on the Peabody faculty continued until retirement in 1999 following a one-year sabbatical leave of absence. During that year, I moved to northern Baltimore county and built a workshop that would enable me to pursue my life-long woodworking hobby. I returned to Peabody in 2002 to teach two graduate courses as an adjunct professor and continued to perform with the Chesapeake Clarinet Quartet an added musical arrangements to its library.
